Become part of China’s innovation boom

Are you an SME or a startup looking East for new growth opportunities? Come join us for a breakfast seminar on prospects and hands-on advice about the world’s soon-to-be largest market for innovative solutions.

China’s focus on entrepreneurs
China has launched a serious attempt to become the world’s powerhouse for innovation. The development of advanced technologies is now the country’s key strategic imperative. Enormous amounts of funds are earmarked to meet the objectives, and business entrepreneurs are positioned as the key stakeholders.

Business opportunities for Danish companies
China’s ambitions are seen by some as a threat to Western interests. But transforming China from a net importer to a leading global producer of advanced technology requires a substantial influx of know-how. For this purpose, Chinese enterprises are encouraged to establish business partnerships with international technology and service providers. This presents genuine business opportunities for Danish companies in business areas, where China is still lacking behind.

Get hands-on advice
But how to proceed? How to get support and find the right local partners? The seminar will give you valuable inputs on key aspects of China’s innovation system. With emphasis on how Danish companies can navigate on the inside. We cannot promise to answer all your questions. But we can guarantee that through the exchange with our speakers and panelists, you get a better start to making decisions about your company’s opportunities in China.

The seminar will also introduce Access CHINA, a new business support program for Danish SMEs and startups.

The event is organized by The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) and DTU Science Park and takes place at DTU Science Park’s accelerator and incubator, Futurebox – located at the DTU campus.
